Tandem and affiliated companies have been offering flatbed service for over 60 years. This history has taught us that one major factor in driver satisfaction is time at home. The trucking industry, and especially flatbeders have historically been unable to provide adequate home time for its professional drivers. Tandem realizes this challenge and makes a special effort to offer its drivers the best home time policy possible. Unless a driver tells us otherwise, we assume he/she desires to be home each weekend. We therefore dedicate our resources to insuring that the driver is able to spend quality time home on the weekend. On average, our drivers are away from home only 2 weekends per year (not including those times the driver requests to run the weekend).

Some Jobs are Better than Others

Tandem also believes that personal matters are important. Therefore, if you have a special circumstance, such as a medical or family/personal concerns, simply notify our dispatch and we will work with you. We promise to do our best to make life on the road more manageable and enjoyable.
