Driver of the Year, Runner-Up Driver of the Year, Safe Driving Awards, Million Milers, Best MPG, Highest Mileage, and Highest Number of Loads, are just a few of the categories recognized at our Annual Safety Awards Banquet. Tandem prides itself in its commitment to recognizing the achievements of our drivers. For 38 consecutive years, Tandem has promoted and sponsored our Annual Safety Awards Banquet held the first week of December in the Big Ten Room at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. This gala event brings over 300 employees and their partners. It is the highlight of our year.

But recognition is not just an annual event. We also recognize our drivers with quarterly fuel incentives, driver referral bonus, sales lead bonuses, birthday dinners, and birthday floral arrangements for spouses. The quarterly fuel incentives can bring you hundreds of dollars per quarter for just driving “smarter”. The driver referral program offers up to $1,500 if you seat a qualified driver candidate. Our sales lead program offers up to $200 if we establish an account with a shipper that you have recommended.
