| PAY PACKAGE
COMPENSATION:
- 75% OF 100% Line Haul and Stop Off Revenue
- 100% Tarp Revenue
- 100% of Fuel Surcharge (Paid at trip settlement if Company has signed rate
agreement. Otherwise, paid after Tandem is paid.)
- 100% of Detention paid if Tandem is compensated by the customer
- 100% of Deadhead paid if Tandem is compensated by the customer
PLATES: Free plates and permits with each year of
service. Trucks with own plates will receive an extra 1% of line haul and stop
off revenue on all loads.
MANAGED FUEL TAX: Mileage trip reports are required. (Taxes Deducted
Quarterly)
ORIENTATION: Applicant must successfully complete the Tandem orientation
program. The program consists of securement practices, qualifying paperwork,
introduction of safety policies and procedures, and all federally mandated
training. Owner Operators must complete orientation program before being leased
to Tandem.
RIDER PROGRAM: After 6 months of service, immediate Family: Spouse and
Child (12 years or older with written authorization from both custodial
parents). The Columbus, OH Operations Manager is required to provide written
authorization for all passengers. Authorization is valid for a two month
period. Positive I.D. required.
DISPATCH: Personal Fleet Manager assigned to each owner operator for
maximum utilization and profitability of truck. Tandem policy requires each
driver to contact his Fleet Manager before 10 AM daily. Non-Forced Dispatch.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Tractor: Seeking late model tractors 5 years and newer (nothing over ten
years old will be considered), well maintained and inspected.
Trailer: 48' Flat or Drop Deck trailer preferred (45' trailer accepted).
Trailer must be equipped with retro-reflective tape.
Equipment: Securing equipment must meet all federally mandated
requirements.
