Flatbed Carrier Services

Tandem Transport offers our drivers and customers a variety of flatbed services. Tandem is primarily an interstate for-hire irregular route flatbed carrier with 48' aluminum, air-ride trailers. Most of our equipment will handle payloads up to 51,000 lbs. Our primary commodities hauled are building materials and steel products across the continental US and into Ontario. However, our fleet of approximately 300 tractor/trailer units also provides other special services as well. These include:

• Regional/Dedicated Service (for shorter distance, more specific runs)
• Seasonal/Dedicated Service (for runs of a limited duration)
• MI Heavy Haul (our fleet of multi-axle equipment in MI can haul payloads up to 104,000 lbs)

Logistics Services

Tandem Transport also provides logistics services through our partner corporation Tandem Logistics, LLC. Tandem Logistics has offices in Illinois, Tennessee and Nebraska. Tandem Transport and Tandem Logistics work together to service our customers and help each other insure that commitments are met in a safe and timely manner.
